PROGRAMS

mainstage

Pacific MusicWorks Mainstage provides Seattle and the Pacific Northwest with music-theater presentations worthy of the world stage.  PMW works to bring internationally renowned artists into collaboration with leading musicians from the Northwest, and to foster creative dialogue among artists from a broad array of fields and cultures.  The heart of its repertoire is 17th- and 18th-century vocal music, but performances range from the Renaissance to innovative contemporary works and from chamber music to oratorio and opera. The organization springs from the vision and international performing career of founding artistic director (and Seattle native) Stephen Stubbs.

UNDERGROUND

Pacific MusicWorks Underground presents our sixth season of fun, informal concerts at great venues including Seattle’s Capitol Cider, Whidbey Island’s St. Augustine in the Woods, Bellevue’s Resonance, and more. Enjoy great food, drink, and company blended with a wide variety of music and our signature Underground multimedia shows. Series director Henry Lebedinsky helps make the listening experience even richer through insights into the stories and personalities behind the music. Underground shows are perfect for first time concertgoers and seasoned fans alike — and a great way to introduce friends to the music you love.
