Mission Statement
Pacific Musicworks produces chamber opera, oratorio and performance art, from the masterpieces of the baroque era to innovative works of the 20th and 21st centuries. Its productions combine the outstanding artists of the Northwest with important artistic figures from around the world.
Vision Statement
At the beginning of the 21st century, Seattle finds itself primed to be a potent cultural center. It is at once a far-western outpost of European traditions, a thriving multi-cultural and multi-ethnic society, and an important gateway to the Pacific. As the arts re-invent themselves for a new era, Seattle promises to provide a forum for that re-invention. Pacific Musicworks aims to play an active and vital part in this process.
